2026 Metuchen Master Plan | Historic Preservation Survey

We need your input!

This survey focuses specifically on the topic of historic preservation in Metuchen. The Borough has long been a community concerned about preserving its residential character. More than 35 years ago, Metuchen considered adopting a historic preservation ordinance, and the Borough is once again exploring that possibility today. Before moving forward, we want to hear directly from the community about your perspectives, concerns, and priorities for preserving Metuchen's character.

All responses are anonymous. For open-ended questions, providing your name is optional. If you choose to provide your name, it will be visible only to the survey administrator (the Borough Planner) and the Master Plan Subcommittee and your name will not be shared publicly.

Feel free to skip any questions that you prefer not to answer, and only provide information that you feel comfortable sharing.
