About Walk & Roll to School Day
Thank you for joining NCTCOG’s Walk & Roll to School Day 2026 promotion! By completing NCTCOG’s participation pledge, you will join a growing movement in the DFW region committed to fostering a culture of safe and active routes to school and building strong community partnerships.
To register for NCTCOG’s promotion, please request that a school administrator (principal, vice-principal, or similar) fill out the form below pledging to participate in Walk & Roll to School Day 2026. A follow-up email will confirm the school’s submission and provide additional guidance and resources.
What will my school receive by participating in the Walk & Roll to School Day 2026 promotion?
Safety Item Giveaways
Once your school signs this commitment to participate in this event, the school is entered in a drawing to receive safety-themed giveaways (such as safety lights, neon slap bracelets, etc.) that the school can hand out to students on Walk & Roll to School Day to generate excitement and incentivize participation.
Scooter & Helmet Drawing
Students at schools that have submitted this participation pledge also will be eligible for a kid's scooter & helmet drawing. Schools will receive further instruction about how to enter the scooter and helmet drawing after submitting this participation pledge.
