Project Overview

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to construct a roundabout at the N.C. 27 / Old Stage Rd (S.R. 1006) / Leslie Campbell Ave (S.R. 2084) intersection. Pavement removal is proposed at the NC 27 / Sheriff Johnson Rd (SR 1516) intersection.

Due to Covid 19, NCDOT has suspended in-person meetings.  Information will be provided to the public in a virtual format on this website. The public is encouraged to provide comments or share their thoughts regarding the proposed map below

This project is listed as Project W-5706L in the N.C. Department of Transportation’s State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and is funded for $ 5.175 million.
