Repair Storytelling Sign-Up
The City of Austin wants to know what happens with broken, damaged, or torn items in your home. Storytelling sessions provide an opportunity to share your insight. This helps us provide recommendations so repair can better benefit your community.
Storytelling sessions last 45-60 minutes and are compensated with a $45 H-E-B gift card. Storytelling sessions take place beginning on September 1, 2022. If selected, you will be notified by the second week of Septemeber. Staff will work with you to schedule a private meeting in person or online. If you would like an interpreter, we can provide one upon request.
In this sign-up form, we will ask you for information about yourself. This helps us make sure we hear from everyone in the storytelling sessions. Your answers will help us find ways to make repairing household items cheap and easy. Your answers are confidential and anonymous. We promise not to distribute this information. We will not use it for any purpose except to improve our programs.
