U.S. 33 and Pickerington Road (PID 77555)
Project Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is evaluating improvement options for the U.S. Route 33 corridor between Pickerington Road and Allen Road in Fairfield County. The existing intersection of U.S. 33 and Pickerington Rd. has been identified as a high-crash location. The proposed project is evaluating options for constructing an interchange and removing at-grade intersections within the project study area.
After reviewing the information and the comments received from project stakeholders, business owners, residents, and interested parties, the Pickerington Road Alternative (Alternative 2) has been selected as the preferred alternative. Please refer to the "Documents" section of the page for more information about the public comments received and why this alternative was chosen.

Why are we holding a virtual public meeting?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, Ohio's Governor Mike DeWine has prohibited mass gatherings and the CDC has recommended using social distancing to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Public involvement meetings are very difficult to perform while practicing social distancing. Due to these issues, ODOT is now holding public involvement meetings virtually so that social distancing can easily be performed while engaging with the public about transportation projects.
Internet Access Difficulties
