There are $3.1 million in Participatory Budgeting funds for capital improvement projects for the unincorporated area of Skyway/West Hill area. There is $1.74 million in marijuana tax revenue funds for programs and services for Skyway/West Hill

A capital investment project must be a physical thing that is bought, built, installed, and/or fixed up, including infrastructure, roads, buildings, land, parks, and equipment. Each project must generally be usable for at least 10 years and must provide a public benefit. 

Project examples: Community spaces, public artwork, and housing

A program or service project must be used to pay for programs, services, building maintenance, community events, art supplies, and capital investments. 

Project examples: Apprenticeships, youth programs, legal services
