University Boulevard Expansion - A.W. Grimes to SH 130
This project will reconstruct University Boulevard from two lanes to four lanes and add a raised median and left-turn-lanes on University from F.M. 1460 (A.W. Grimes Blvd.) to SH 130.

This virtual open house is designed to give you information about the upcoming project to widen University Boulevard from FM 1460 (A. W. Grimes Boulevard) to SH 130. Please click through the pages shown above to give us your input and learn more about the proposed design, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation and project impacts.
The proposed project would widen the existing two-lane, undivided roadway to a four-lane, divided roadway from FM 1460 (A.W. Grimes) to SH 130. The current road shoulders would be widened by two feet and the inside road shoulders would be four feet wide. Drainage improvements are also proposed throughout the project limits. All improvements would be constructed within the existing right-of-way (ROW) and drainage easement. No new ROW or easements are proposed for the project; therefore, no displacements are anticipated.
