Four Mile Creek Trailhead Plaza

Four Mile Creek Greenway Trailhead Plaza is a small public space at the corner of Rea Road and Bevington Place. The City of Charlotte Urban Design Center chose the Four Mile Creek Trailhead Plaza as a project for their Placemaking Program’s innaugural year, along with six other projects across Charlotte. The City is working with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and the greater community to identify placemaking elements to transform the plaza into a more vibrant public space. Seating options, art, lighting, the treatment of pavement, and other interventions will all be considered. We’d love to hear from you!
