Pressley Road Park
Pressley Road Park is located at 1500 Pressley Road in Charlotte, NC. The existing 6 acre park includes a playground and walking trails.
The Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioners allocated approximately $2 million to renovate the park in their Fiscal Year 2024 budget.
Previous public engagement was conducted and can be seen below. However, Park and Recreation will be looking for opportunities to engage with the community again before finalizing any improvement plans.
We anticipate being able to finalize the design sometime in 2024 with construction starting in 2025.
The two concepts below were presented both in person and online for feedback from the community. The majority of respondents preferred Concept B with some additional changes. Park and Recreation will continue to refine the concept and move into the next phase of design. Once we have a final plan, it will be shared here.
