Rail Trail Survey

'Grove & Field' is one of 33 winners of the 2017 Knights Cities Challenge! This project will increase vibrancy and connectivity along the Rail Trail by turning vacant, unused spaces into lively places to connect with nature and neighbors! Please take this survey to help inform the design and programming of this new Charlotte Rail Trail project. The project will address two gaps along the Trail, located between Remount Road and Tremont Avenue, where a paved path does not exist (see map above). This project will create pathways that close the gaps making it safer for trail users. These gaps and adjacent land could also become lively places for trail users to congregate in a fun, unexpected way.

Gap 1 is behind Off Broadway between the Solis Southline apartments and the 2400 South office building. Gap 2 is behind Autobell & Cannon Pharmacy between the 2400 South office building and the Camden Southline apartments. The gap behind Atherton Mill will be completed with the upcoming Edens redevelopment.
