StreetEats - Visitor Survey
StreetEats - Visitor Survey
The City of Charlotte will implement up to 16 pop-up outdoor dining locations through the pilot StreetEats program: 2 located in Uptown and up to 14 additional located across the city. The purpose of the StreetEats Program is to leverage the city’s right of way, private streets and parking lots to provide outdoor dining opportunities to support local restaurants still struggling due to the on-going pandemic. Key goals of the program include equitable distribution throughout the city, increased restaurant sales for participants, attraction of visitors, increased neighborhood support of local businesses and a safer pedestrian environment during the activations.
The City of Charlotte has allocated a total of $400,000 from CARES funding to implement the pilot StreetEats program. This survey will assist the City in reporting the impact of the StreetEats program and CARES funding. Please take this survey if you own or manage a business that will be participating in the StreetEats program.
StreetEats are for all Charlotteans! It is important to collect demographic data to ensure all community members have the opportunity to enjoy the Street Eats program. The following questions will help the City of Charlotte monitor and evaluate community engagement efforts.
