The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is constructing a median barrier on State Route (SR) 36 between Pole Canyon Road and Sunset Road in Lake Point to increase safety on SR-36 and the surrounding areas, as shown in the map below. Median barriers can reduce the number of cross-median crashes, which are attributed to the relatively high speeds that are typical on highways.  

This work is anticipated to start as soon as Monday, April 17, and will last through June 2023.  

WHAT TO EXPECT:  

• Nighttime work Sunday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. with minimal day work 
• Nightly lane closures on SR-36 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.  
• Increased noise, vibration and dust
