Nassau County Transit Study
Nassau County Transit Study
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) in partnership with Nassau County is conducting a study of public transportation opportunities in Nassau County. The purpose of the project is to analyze the existing conditions and the changing landscape of the County, which has experienced rapid growth over the last couple of years, in order to develop a plan to enhance transit service within the County as well as exploring connections to neighboring transit providers in the region.
The outcome of the study will be a set of short-term and long-term recommendations for transportation investments and strategies. Today, members of the project consultant team and JTA staff are joining us to discuss the subject of transportation needs and hear from you to help shape the outcome of the study.
