Emerald Valley has a new bike lane sweeping machine, but it doesn’t have a name yet sad​

Help name Emerald Valley's new bike lane sweeper by suggesting a cool moniker (or two!).  The opportunity to submit suggestions closes Sunday, May 14, at 11:59 p.m. The winning name will be revealed at a Bike Emerald Valley event on Thursday, May 25.

A note about street maintenance: Emerald Valley streets are swept by larger street sweeping machines, which can sweep bikeways that are not separated. This bike lane sweeper allows EDOT to sweep narrower, separated bikeways. Street maintenance will be regularly rolling the bike lane sweeper down the growing number of protected bikeways in Emerald Valley to keep them clean and safe for use. Street Sweeping needs can be reported by calling 311.
