Grand Rapids CarShare Pilot
October 17th, 2024, Mobile GR launched its EV CarShare program operated by provider Mobility Development. The project is intended as a pilot program supported by $500,000 from the Parking Capital Fund throughout the three-year contract. It included at least six (6) plug-in electric vehicles at launch. The number of vehicles is increasing to twelve (12) by the end of 2025.
About the Dart EVCarShare Program
DART EVCarShare is a program that allows members of the public to rent a vehicle by the hour for an affordable rate. This program is intended to make the access to cars easily accessible by transit and in several neighborhoods around the city. Beginning in October 2024, The carshare program is currently a temporary pilot until 2027. It included six (6) plug-in electric vehicles at launch. The number of vehicles is increasing to twelve (12) by the end of 2025.
