The City of Phenix City is exploring the development of an inclusive playground as Phase 2 of its Miracle Field project at Lakewood Park. Phase 1 of the project included the construction of an inclusive baseball field designed to provide recreational opportunities for individuals of all abilities.

The City is considering pursuing federal funding to support the development of an inclusive playground. Community input will help the City understand local recreational needs, identify desired playground features, and determine the level of community interest in the proposed project.
