CORE Survey - Infographic and Guide to Planning
Thanks for staying involved in the Transportation CORE! We listened to your request on the need to improve how we communicate the planning process to the public.
In the fall, CORE members suggested that using visuals could make it easier for people to understand who we are, what we do and how to participate.
Now, we've created some materials and would love to hear your thoughts on them. This is the first step among several to improve the information we provide to the public.
Please take a look at the materials below and share your thoughts by March 15, 2024.
We're making an effort to better explain our work and how the public can join in. Our team is getting trained to write in simple, easy-to-understand language. We're also revamping our outreach materials to make it clearer for everyone to grasp what we do and how they can get involved.
This is where you come in. We have put together two pieces for you to review:
A draft infographic outlining a key part of the planning process - how does a need or project idea turn into a funded project? 
We also updated our Guide to Transportation Planning. This guide, originally written by members of the public like you, has been given new life with fresh, plain language and infographics.
This is just the beginning however - we need your unique perspectives to help us improve these materials and make them ready for publication. Please visit the other tabs to check them out and let us know what you think by answering a few questions.
