Welcome to the Bethune Park Master Plan virtual public engagement.
On Jan. 15, 2025, the Hillsborough County Community & Infrastructure Planning team presented the final Bethune Park Master Plan to the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) at the Board’s regularly scheduled meeting. It was unanimously approved.
In addition to the concept plans and renderings shared at the 2024 public meetings, the master plan includes a report with additional details and background on the planning process, the history of Bethune Park, a budget estimate, and other important information helpful for community partners to make this plan a success.
County staff sincerely thanks you for your time and participation in the many meetings, public engagements, and the online survey. Your contributions were vital in producing a high-quality Bethune Park Master Plan that reflects the community’s needs and aspirations as a central feature of the Wimauma community.
