Genesee Riverway Trail Completion Study

Genesee Riverway Trail Completion Study

The Genesee Transportation Council is providing federal planning funds through the 2023-2024 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) to help the City of Rochester develop a feasibility study to improve the 8.5-mile northern section of the Genesee River Trail, which runs from downtown Rochester to Lake Ontario. The aim is to make a continuous trail on both sides of the river that everyone, regardless of age or ability, can use.
