The City of Asheville’s Board of Adjustment has jurisdiction to hear cases regarding variance requests from the provisions of the Unified Development Ordinance. Additionally, the Board of Adjustment has jurisdiction to hear appeals regarding interpretations of the Unified Development Ordinance, Floodplain Ordinance, Housing Code Ordinance, and Historic District Guidelines.
REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE
The Board of Adjustment meets once a month on the fourth Monday of the month in the 1st Floor North Conference Room of City Hall (70 Court Plaza).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Adjustment of the City of Asheville will hold a public hearing at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024 in the First Floor Conference Room of the City Hall Building.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Approval of the minutes of the May 20, 2024 regular meeting.
VARIANCES
The petitioner Vincent Skreba, is requesting variances to the setbacks standards in Section 7-14-1(b)(4)d Accessory Structure Standards of the Unified Development Ordinance. The applicant is seeking relief from the requirement for accessory structures to be placed to the side or rear of the primary structure. The property is known as 125 Cisco Rd and PIN 9659-52-8172.
