The East Grand Avenue Parking Study, led by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) in partnership with the City of Dallas and TxDOT, will evaluate existing and future parking conditions along East Grand Avenue between Fairview Avenue and Beacon Street. This is a follow up the larger Grand Avenue Study based on a recommendation of converting angled parking to parallel on-street parking.

The study will map area parking spaces, engage local stakeholders, and evaluate management practices. Additionally, NCTCOG will count parking use during busy times and work with the City of Dallas to estimate future parking demand. A scenario where angled parking on Grand Ave is converted to parallel on-street parking will be evaluated.  These findings will be used to recommend near-term and long-term strategies to improve parking options and management to support the future of East Grand Avenue.
