STARS Route 653 N. Courthouse Road Corridor Study
VDOT is conducting a Planning and Preliminary Design Study for North Courthouse Road (Route 653) between Southlake Boulevard (immediately south of Rt. 60 – Midlothian Turnpike) and Horners Run (immediately south of Rt. 360 – Hull Street) in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The study will evaluate traffic operations and safety for all transportation modes and provide a cohesive suite of transportation improvements that address each study need within the study area. The goal of this study will be to develop a series of medium and long-term solutions to address the arterial congestion and safety concerns along the corridor.
